Dramaturgy

A dramaturg is someone who help to fine-tune the production. Think of the dramaturg as the soundboard, the extra eye and mind in the room, the researcher, the first audience.

Usually, the dramaturg works with the playwright. But nowadays, dramaturg works with directors, dance makers, even production designers.

What we normally do is we observe the rehearsal and pick up relevant matters to highlight, and share it with the necessary persons. To date I’ve worked with dance makers and playwrights.
